Maharashtra's biggest household scheme is Majhi Ladki Bahin, which pays women ₹1,500 a month. The state also runs a cash scheme for girls from birth to 18, free professional education for many girl students, a paid on-the-job training scheme for young people, and its own professional tax. Stamp duty on property is not listed yet: we could not confirm the current rates against sources that meet our standard, so check the Inspector General of Registration before you buy.
